I’m reading Kambaramayanam, a 12th century Tamil epic. It’s written in my mother tongue, Tamil, but the language has changed so much over centuries that I am using a guide to understand the old Tamil words and phrases and the nuances behind the verses. I’m really enjoying it so far.

Did they not know that piracy was a community before this post? It often hits front page, and is one of the very active communities. Even Reddit still has a piracy community ffs. At least take some time and/or get some feedback from the users before you take some off the cuff rash decisions.

I went in after not having watched any matrix movies in a very long time, and enjoyed it. I think people overprepared for the movie by watching all matrix movies back to back, and the movie ended up recapping the previous movies for 1/3rd of the runtime. It’s a true reboot for a new generation where you don’t need to have watched any of the previous movies. It’s enough if you just knew about them. That’s what I think.

Thanks for the advice. What do you mean by thinner washes? I’m actually not following any tutorials, but rather figuring this on my own, so I don’t know any jargons I’m afraid. I’m using 200 gsm a6 watercolor sheets, and some low quality watercolor brush pens. I’m rubbing the paint on a clear watercolor brush pen and painting it with that. I mostly don’t use the color pens by themselves on paper.
