Python V2/V3??? How old is this thing? Not even Debian comes with Python 2 these days.

I know you said no proprietary, but frameo is a digital frame app/service that is leveraged by various manufacturers. I recently gifted my parents some no name picture frames that use frameo, and they're extremely happy with them. I can add pictures from anywhere in the world, and multiple people can be added as contributors. It cost me around $50

Forc Digital Picture Frame WiFi 10.1 Inch Digital Photo Frame, Electronic Picture Frame, 16GB Storage, Auto-Rotate, IPS Touch Screen, Easy Setup and Share Photos and Videos via Free App from Anywhere https://a.co/d/9LJYELQ

This is the one I bought. Searching for frameo on Amazon will show a wide variety.

Why the fuck would it get removed? It’s part of Lemmy lore now.

Granted. Microsoft has acquired total control of Linux by ousting Linus Torvalds for uncivil behavior. To protect malicious retribution from Linus sympathisers, Linux has been made closed source. The good news is that with Microsoft in full control of Linux, Bing has been deeply integrated into Linux, leveraging the power of AI and data analytics.

I mean, it's already pretty much canon if you think about it.

Yeah I'm a little offended by that surprisingly.

Ideally things like these are how nature maintains balance in various populations. When a population grows too big, new countermeasures evolve to feed off the population and eventually bring it down. Since humans have medical technology outpacing the nature, the effect of such things is negligible, even for something devastating like COVID. Funnily enough, human population seems to be self regulating, because the birth rate seems to be dropping all over the world.
