I really hope you poopoo every achievement from every other major space program, because all of them have skeletons in their closets. America doesn’t just starve its children (it does that), but it literally shoots them. Russia is, well, Russia. China sucks. They all suck. Some suck more than others but they’re all shit.
That’s NEVER going to change. So let people have small victories now and then. Progress is progress.
One time payment or a subscription?
Your country does just as much damage on a global scale as those you’ve mentioned as the bad guys. Please don’t forget that.

Not most. Just enough to make it worth the money they spend.
Perhaps this is due to your age? I find some classic old films quite boring and not worth the hype, but that’s because I was born long after they were filmed. The technology was much less polished and appealing compared to what was the norm during my formative years.
You are forgetting that Bender and The Ship had a romantic yet toxic relationship. The Ship is definitely a character.

I use whatever is around… a receipt, a square of TP, a cat’s whisker once. I have a bunch of bookmarks but they’re never around when I need them (and I always forget to grab one when I grab a book off the bookshelf).
