Since you got the Air, have you done any video editing? Recently I was about to get a Pro as well but decided to go with the Air because the Pro was out of stock where I live and I didn’t wanna wait. Plus, I think can save a bit of money because I may not be able to fully use it.

Hello,

I just got a new MacBook Air M2 13" base last night. It is beautiful. I'm happy with it. I only use it lightly for some emails, office stuff, etc., so I think I won't have a lot of problem with both RAM and storage.

However, I find its charging speed a bit slow because I've got the small 30W USB-C Power Adapter. Should I just get another with more performance? Will it break my Mac's battery or something? I don't mind the heat. I often leave it charge to full and then unplug to use for the day.

I’m using a Pro because of the compact size. It fits in my pocket easily and doesn’t make me uncomfortable when I sit.

But honestly, I won’t mind a Pro Max in the future if I have to compromise a lot of camera or battery or power features going with the Pro.

My dock has just been updated. Phone, Safari, Things and a folder of messaging apps I frequently use, both for work and friends.

I paid for Things just to use pretty much what Reminder already has, but I like the icon :(

Rectangle for snapping windows, like on Windows.

Keka for managing zip files, or The Unarchiver if you prefer simplicity.

IINA for watching video files, much like VLC, but with slightly better UI.

Bartender for hiding icons on your Menu Bar.

Those are the true "must-have" that I have on every mac of mine. I will add later if I can remember anything else.

Did you drop it? If you did, how many times in total?

That screen looks pristine! I think the older generation glasses are better in terms of scratch protection, while the newer Ceramic Shield ones are harder to break.
