You're talking about a different situation though. I have old apps that are no longer supported so I can't install them on newer devices. However, I can still install them on old devices with a supported OS version (or trick the Play Store into installing on a new OS and deal with bugs).
It depends what you mean by "more than the basics." Some things I used to do which could be considered more complicated have already been handicapped (like using 3rd party services). Others aren't reliable so I stopped using them. Personally, I have no problem trying stuff out and speaking in the way the assistant understands, but there are very few complicated actions which are supported and reliable!
Looking through that list, I kept saying to myself, "I didn't know Google Assistant could do that!" and in a few cases, "I tried to do that and it didn't work, so I assumed Google Assistant couldn't do that."
They didn't say "smart". The bar for being able to pass inspection on your vehicle is pretty low!
Listen to your local police scanner.
Can't. It's encrypted.
And the next paragraph:
The jet had been prevented from making long-haul flights over water so that the plane "could return very quickly to an airport" in the event the warnings happened again, NTSB chief Jennifer Homendy said.
~~Which makes it sound like they couldn't find the source of that warning but weren't willing to completely write it off.~~
"An additional maintenance look" was requested but "not completed" before the incident, Ms Homendy said.
FTA:
Government documents say the reporting requirements likely would apply to plastic producers, not consumers.
Maybe the system is different here in Canada, but whenever I've spoken to anyone who is in the Immigration system, they are hyper focused on how their occupation will look on their application. Many people delay becoming self-employed for the appearance of stability, others attempt to work in jobs that make them look like upstanding citizens such as public service or charity, etc.
Opening her own business in a "legally grey" industry just seems like asking for trouble.
On your note of paying income tax, even criminal activity is supposed to be taxed. That's famously how they caught Capone! Just because you're not committing tax evasion doesn't mean you're on the up and up!
No argument from me there. However, I'm pretty sure this is at the behest of the city, not the police taking actions on their own.
Can someone explain to me how this is "A Breach of Yemeni Sovereignty"? It seems like these actions are supported by the internationally recognized government in Yemen. (I'm not asking about the validity of these actions, or the horrendous effects of them. Just the sovereignty question)
Also, is this the interviewee? It appears she is a language and literacy assistant professor who happens to be Yemeni American, not an expert on the Yemen war, international law, or anything else relevant to these events.
