How did you achieve the floating bottom bar?
If you edit the bottom bar, under more options you can enable "Floating panel" to achieve this effect.
I have met a Flat Earth conspiracy believer mom who was homeschooling her kid, explaining how the sphere Earth model is wrong and so on, her complain was that despite her best efforts to ~~indoctrinate~~ educate her child, the child was not convinced that the Earth is flat. It goes to show that some children are just too intelligent to fall for this kinda shit. The child was eight or nine years old I think.
Manjaro Linux is Arch Linux based. Manjaro and Arch relation is like Ubuntu and Debian relation.
Manjaro has its own set of issues that you may want to stay away from.

I have Plasma installed on my Arch based installation, but I hardly use it since I also have i3 installed which I adore.
My i3 setup looks very similar to my Plasma setup, I prefer window managers because they are more productive to use.
Lemmings have already beaten Reddit by being a better platform. All that is missing is content, which will take time.

I have seen couple videos, one was a drone killing Russian soldiers, other ones were for porn. So it may just be lack of interest, or lack of convenience to share videos.
It can't be as efficient as native apps. So no, I am against it being a standard. I don't want unnecessarily resource hungry things.
Apple and Google can maybe instead collaborate together for a protocol for Android and iPhone to ease the process of multi-platform apps.
