Not quite that simple - authorization was voted on long ago in some cases but it’s up to the executive branch how and when to actually send them. They’re usually approved in big blocks which go out over time on no required-by-law schedule.

I think she probably voted for them back when being for Israel was a way to get votes, and now being for Israel is a way to lose votes, and now she’s alarmed and deeply concerned about the plight of the Palestinian people, all of a sudden. Whatever. If it leads to less support for Israel I’m at least happy that her insider trading ass is on the right side even if only very slightly and only by accident.

I also 100% agree with whoever it was that said call your representatives and encourage them to get on board too.

My point is that his coming in here saying “genocide is bad!” is meeting with 0 resistance but instead full throated agreement from everybody, yet he’s still claiming there must be pro genocide people, I guess implying that is the only reason anyone could possibly disagree with him on other issues, or accuse him of being a Russian plant (*), is that they like genocide and for no factual well reasoned reason

(*) Or, more generally, dishonest; I have no idea if he’s Russian specifically or not

Oop, you’re right. I didn’t read the intro and it wasn’t mentioned lower down; in the main article body it just says the secretary of the army paroled him in 1974. But yeah it says Nixon.

At least Nixon left him with house arrest. In today’s climate he might have been pardoned by Trump like those Navy Seals and hosting a show on Newsmax or something.

Looking over the comments I see absolutely no one that is pro genocide. Pretty much all the viewpoints are sensible: Unanimously anti-Israel, sometimes skeptically approving of Pelosi doing something good for once.

For what reason could you be painting the picture of an outlandish strawman view opposed to your own which doesn’t exist, I wonder

Why is this constantly getting reposted

  1. On Kagi you type ‘Dunkin’ and then click ‘maps’
  2. I want to see a screenshot of your ‘glamour’ and ‘Conan’ searches working the way you’re describing

They aren't lefties, I think, they're just people who really want to complain about Biden and yes are inventing reasons they're being persecuted when people disagree with them

My God dude not this again

  • Healthcare, no idea what you're talking about, is Biden bad for health care somehow now?
  • Biden's corporate tax reforms swung Amazon's taxes from negative $1.2 billion per quarter to positive $1 billion when they took effect at the start of 2023, and they're currently paying $3 billion per quarter, a comfortable amount more than they've ever paid before. Here's this year's proposal of what he plans to do to build on top of that. Raising corporate taxes was most of how he funded stuff like the infrastructure bill.
  • Biden passed the largest single action against climate change in American history, although Republicans and Manchin blocked his earlier much more aggressive attempt.

If you were just talking about him funding a genocide we could rock and roll about how right you are, but no. I get it though -- including the other three is a necessary part in the propaganda equation because the accusations have to stay fresh and varied in order to continue hitting the right buttons to blend into an overall gestalt of badness to make it "feel" like there's a groundswell of overall opinion that Biden is just bad on everything, if that's the perception you're trying to engineer.

(Oh, and also, blaming the messenger who relays to you that Trump is infinitely, infinitely worse and that that's relevant to what we should do in the upcoming election makes about as much sense as a teenager saying "it's not faaaaaaiiiir" that we have to keep the thermostat lower or we can't take a trip because of money reasons. Yeah, I too wish we had Bernie Sanders in the election, that would be fuckin great, but also don't treat it as something I invented when I relay to you that not electing Hitler is an important priority in this election.)

Tell me you're not left leaning (or... not a native English speaker) without telling me you're not

I also see "Democrat party" a couple times in your comment history, which is another thing I have literally never heard outside the conservativaverse
