Just got my first Macbook, what are those must have apps you guys recommend in c/apple@hardware.watch

iStat always. It lets you know when your machine’s acting up. Maybe Alfred. Otherwise since all I do is surf the web, email, and calendar I mostly use the stock Apple apps for compatibility.

Switch resolution to 4k SDR (instead of leaving it as Dolby vision). And then there’s frame rate matching and something else to turn on. I just got mine three days ago and almost every YouTube video I watched has this same tip
