Not to mention it takes like 10 seconds to load and has completely random predictions

They still have centralization in way though, as in the Big-8 has moderation powers regardless of what server is hosting. Though a server can probably patch that out.
Seems like the committee is only like 3 people, so who knows how that'll go. It's no different then any other open-source ecosystem out there now, it needs to compete with them and gain developers and usable applications. It'll be an entirely new framework from scratch, so why would people pick their product over others? The only thing that remains original is the USENET brand.
because most of my anxiety comes from uncertainty. having to prepare for success or fail is exhausting and scary
Who buys this shit from a mall? I never understood the target audience.
That's pretty awesome of them to do such a great Godot advertisement
Can tell you're that type of friends if you're replying with anime reactions
They're suggesting all separate platforms, neither would be kbin/Lemmy, so any Lemmy apps being comparable are out of the question.
So unless they plan on developing their own app, which I doubt they will, there really are no foss alternatives with apps. This is why I brought this up. It'd be website only.
This is why I'm asking what app will be used, the answer is simply none.
Me. Probably wouldn't have stayed this long if it wasn't for the Sync app. There's just no other good Reddit-like app.
Why hasn't emperor's new groove gotten a remake yet tho
I'm glad there's discussion for it at least. This is a really annoying thing for me. Otherwise it pretty much nails most things for me. I have some other small issues, but those don't prevent swapping over to it. But right now it competes with dash-to-panel extension on Gnome for me, and Gnome is winning there. But once XFCE does have that, it's nice jumping to it for consistently, since you know your work flow won't change even from a year from now.
