That works too. They made https://adguard-dns.com to start a new service where you basically make your own DNS and customize the filters. I just use the generic one though, which is the one I linked. It should be the same as the old one, the one you linked

Assuming you're on Android, you should set your private DNS in the network settings to dns.adguard-dns.com
. It's a nice AdBlock at the DNS level

You should go into uBlock Origin settings, then filters, and enabled all of the annoyance filters. I didn't even notice anything because all that crap is blocked by default for me
