Most sites definitely don't do this

My entire comment is about why your response doesn't make sense, they do and it's not a process that's ever "done". It's whether how optimized is it and if it runs well on targeted specs.

Not really. If you're using an adblocker, it's the best option. It's the path of least resistance, and tracking is blocked regardless if it's tracked it not. No server will see if you pressed accept or decline. That's why this addon exists.

It's a lost cause, the EU circlejerk is too strong, as clearly everything is a utopia over there with nothing wrong.

GDPR is a good idea, but still very flawed in practice which they really don't like to admit anything wrong for some reason.

What a good generation of gaming

They did lol, and that's a really dumb question by a tech illiterate. Optimization isn't a boolean state, it's a constant ongoing process that still needs more work.

Yeah it shuts off all of the radios in your phone. Except wifi when you go to enable it

Why don't they just have Skyrim level of detail on all 1000 planets, smh!

Yeah they both have their pros and cons, personally I prefer Tutanota as a company. Their client is a bit rough, but they make is secure, private, foss, and degoogled as much as possible. They're also super cheap and I only pay like $12 a year for premium and two custom domains.
