You only see tech and cost aka. technocracy. Life is very different. People won't use your mean of transportation if it's not nice for them. Rail transportation has a better image than busses.

The rail is cheaper on the long run as it transports more people per hour, attract more passengers to the system, is more reliable, has a better acceptation,

Also, a state doesn't work like a private company, household when it comes to money.

It doesn't double the capacity. It's more a 30% increase. And, double-deckers are actually old. They date from the 19th century. In 1855, the Chemin de fer de l'Ouest introduced double-deckers on suburban lines of Paris.

Modern double-deckers date from the 1930s, with the Voiture à étage Etat:

Twitter isn't the messenger. This is what they want you to think. Twitter is a private, for profit company. It's not a public place lake the street. They have to be proactive and follow the local laws. They are responsible for what you can read on it as well as the people posting.

This is a huge difference with the street. The street is public not private, you're responsible for what you say.

Internet is not the wilde west. Companies have to follow and adapt to the local law or just not operating there.

Actually, the same issue as with billionaires. The country became so wealthy that it can afford paying for what happened during WWII.

Switzerland takes its gold from all the mining sources legal and illegal and mostly produces and exports gold bars.

And don't think, they are huge plan. They are actually small factories.

The idea is older than Milton. In 1988, Jim Sinclair wrote "Some Thoughts About Empathy":
