"Whaddya mean it isn't a drive-thru?"

And now TikTok is advertising itself on UK TV as an educational tool. I expect everyone on here recognises them as evil already, so don't doubt it!

Either not spoiled entirely, or I missed it. We see at the end of this ep a play, which I think is enough to make the event mentioned in the layover happen just on extra travel time from that act. The line Ben is on is really slow and a bit irregular while still within the rules because of trains serving only his part of the line and things like that.

If the seekers are willing to ignore the first train back, gift Ben a little time and instead get the next service which terminates in Ben's town, it'll wreck his plan.

We can't conclude from the layover how the plan pans out totally. It could still go either way. But we can suspect from how annoyed someone sounds!

fearing a loss of privacy, disruption caused by protests and eviction.

Of those, only loss of privacy is a planning consideration, I think, and it should be a demonstrable thing, such as showing that embassy windows look into homes. So unless they're saying that the planning board improperly ignored such evidence, I don't understand what the judicial review will be looking at that might change the decision.

Protests are a policing matter and eviction is a matter of housing law. The building desicn and associated matters don't come into it much.

I would have liked to see the queue curse, but I think it's fair enough that he didn't take it, especially since they're on their way straight to him.

Was the curse playble in the end game? I think it would be a nuisance in small town. But it's not as good as what he had.

The first section where Adam just pestered Sam to give him Edinburgh facts was awesome. Could tell he'd had enough of hearing that Sam spent 4 years there 😂

I thought Adam was parodying the annoying US tourists and tour guides that get in the way in the city centre and tell each other made-up stuff!

He only needs to be agreed to be leader of his party to continue, then rule it with an iron fist and remove any rival who gets too popular, such as the even nuttier Rupert Lowe.

Last election, Farage did actually find a town foolish enough to elect him (Clacton, where he rarely goes), but it's not required (the current Green England&Wales leader isn't an MP) and Farage is a zombie leader who has kept on and on and on through many election defeats and parties falling apart.

Seriously, labour is the Enemy.

You write that like there can only be one enemy. Labour are being rubbish just now, but Reform UK the party of Putin would be worse. Reform is the biggest enemy.

They are :)

The government announced that the plan, published on Wednesday, will focus on funding solar panels, heat pumps and batteries for households across the UK via low-interest loans and grants.

It's a shame there's no insulation plan to replace the mismanaged ECO4 programme for low-income homes, though. That's another way to reduce demand.

half the US no longer thinks Trump did anything wrong with Epstein.

Where are you getting that from? Reuters/Ipsos polling last month said that only half of Republicans approve of Trump's handling of the scandal, resulting in it being less than a quarter of the US. Of the whole survey, 52% disapproved.

the US is a brainwashed failed state. The constitution was a great idea, but it’s a first draft that clearly is flawed when the checks and balances decide they want a king.

Time will tell. They may yet recover, or you may be right and things get even worse.

So when idiots say that there's no point doing anything in your country because China, this may help to remind them which major polluters are owned or based in your country. For example, BP is the 8th-largest emitter, Shell is the 9th and both are based in the UK, so UK regulators could absolutely help clean them up and make a massive difference.

Trump, by comparison, just sounds like a rambling retiree who should be in a home.

Yeah, it's amazing that the US media let him get away with the "Sleepy Joe" accusation/jibe/meme when Trump was already looking and sounding doddery in his first term. I guess you can do anything in the USA if your supporters control most of the press.
