That is a ban from online services. The word 'brick' has a specific meaning, this isn't a brick.

I'm talking about what has actually happened, you're talking about what hasn't happened.

I feel like some of y'all are just holding onto old grudges from the 90s and 2000s when dubs were done on zero budget and didn't have experienced actors who were being paid enough to take the roles seriously. Modern dubs are generally pretty great now that voice acting as a profession is taken a lot more seriously over here. There are even a few dubs I've watched just because a VA I like is in them.
At this point it's all preference, and anyone being an elitist gatekeeper about it is a dick.
OP said it should just be online bans, I said that it is, and you're umackshuallying over what hasn't actually happened.
If it ever happens, we can resume this conversation, but until then?
Assuming Skydance doesn't cancel the show first...
It's actually unreal how much material he's putting out so rapidly. No other standup comedian does anything close to this.
Comedians go on tour performing the same routine, just in different cities. Maybe they'll revise and adjust it over the course of the tour, and often leave a little room for improv crowd work, but the main routine that is planned and rehearsed is something they write once per tour.
So for Josh Johnson to have an entirely new routine every single week, it's unheard of. He isn't just someone who will go down in history next to the pantheon of greats, he's in his own league doing something none of the greats can be compared to.
The fact that they are doing online bans instead is how we know.
But like I said, tell you what, if it happens then we can talk.
You're fixating on legalese boilerplate, I'm talking about what they're actually doing.

Because regardless of what some boilerplate legalese says, they are instead doing online bans.
Let me rewind to the start of this conversation.
prevent access to online services...that's all they should be allowed to do. I don't think I'd be able hold back on any company that decided what I do with MY hardware.
That is what they do. It's an online ban, you can still use a banned console offline.
The DNC are the ones who lost to the felon pedophile. Don't let them blame the left in order to avoid taking accountability.
Knowing that Japan's economy is a mess right now, I suppose it isn't too surprising that people struggling to make ends meet would be susceptible to this kind of right wing grift. People are mad and want change, party promises change, whether it's actually the right kind of change isn't called into question.
Some games might not be playable. But other games still are. Calling the system a paperweight is not accurate.
