Awesome, that's just the kind of info I needed.

KVMs, especially with ATX power support, are great tools if something happens to your server and you can't reach it via network, like ssh. They use a video input instead of output to view the BIOS and see what's going on. Also the ability to not only reboot but control the actual power for hard resets make it like you're actually physically in front of the machine. If your server has an issue that you can't solve with KVM with power support, then that means you are in deep doodoo and either have a complete power outage, or the physical case would have to be removed to access the issue.

Why this is a big deal is pro KVMs cost hundreds of dollars if not more, and setting up a piKVM, especially with ATX power support, is not trivial. We did a big segment on piKVMs on the Linux Lugcast podcast, and I was just thinking of building one, but then I saw this new board and couldn't believe the price tag for what it offers.

Not yet unfortunately, but this is a day one buy for me.

Neither Allwinner nor Rockchip boards need proprietary flashing software for img images. BTW, if you're having issues flashing, let me know and I can help out. I've flashed countless RC boards over the years since the original Rock64.

N100 mini PCs with 8GB of RAM have broken the sub $100 price point. They may not be single board but they're about the same size as this. I do like the dual nics and case on the Zima board but I would never buy one.

I don't believe any SBC needs Windows.

The project was part of the company’s In-App Action Panel (IAPP) program, which used a technique for “intercepting and decrypting” encrypted app traffic from users of Snapchat, and later from users of YouTube and Amazon, the consumers’ lawyers wrote in the document.

Looks like they didn't decrypt anything, just used MitM spyware.

Yeah it is. That picture is a Radxa Zero.

It looks to me like one of the Radxa Zeros

Traffic take longer? You're talking about milliseconds. Also Wake On Lan has been baked into BIOS's and Network cards for years so there's no need to waste power. Is the issue that you just don't have a PC? Regardless, if this is the path you want to take I think it's a cool learning experience and I'm interested in seeing how it turns out.

I know about it. It's pretty popular, so much in fact that you can buy a wide range of routers with it preinstalled.

But searxng is a search engine you access from a web browser, why aren't you hosting it at home and accessing it from your phone via url?
