Why do I have a memory of him doing this early on in his presidency? Like, I hazily remember a call to a reporter threatening war with North Korea and then the Pentagon saying 'We don't know who called, they don't represent us, it's all bullshit.' Did I dream that up or did it get lost in all the stuff he got into over 4 years?

Just holy shit.

Judge Lawrence Flood ruled Thursday there was probable cause for the officers to fire their weapons, and that "The officers are not the aggressors."

Surveillance camera footage

  • Unmarked squad car rolls up on two guys
  • One of two thinks it's gang members, raises hands, one hand has wine and cell phone other hand is empty. Other guy(with gun)runs.
  • Cops start blasting
  • Running guy shoots back
  • Unarmed guy gets shot by cops
  • Police lie by saying both guys shot at them first *Video shows that cops lied
  • Cops on trial
  • Cops acquitted "The officers are not the aggressors."
  • Cops now seeking back pay since they weren't paid while on trial

It sure looks like the cops were the aggressors to me.

I bet he and his family will lose so much as to "only" millionaires and be forced to move to Florida so they can continue their shady business practices. But, it may be a bit harder for them to deal with big banks and such since since now they're definitely known to lie about nearly everything. Thinking about it, Deutsch Bank probably won't care and they'll be able to continue the grift with them. Who knows, maybe we'll see Jared or Ivanka or Don Jr try their hand at politics. Imagine: Jarevanka 2024, the first husband and wife team to run for the office of the president. That would be nuts but I could see them doing it.

But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

He's using a metric clock, they were really popular in France in the 1790s for some reason.

He said approvals on a case by case basis so I could totally see him trying to make it work that way.

The lawsuit said that although Neville was considered a special needs inmate, he was not immediately sent to the hospital. He was pinned to the floor while Heughins tried to get a pulse, and then he was handcuffed, placed in a restraint chair and taken to a multipurpose room on another floor of the jail.

Neville asked to be turned over so he could breathe. A detention officer told Neville that he was breathing because he was talking and yelling, the lawsuit said.

After three and a half minutes, Neville “uttered the last intelligible phrase he ever made,” the lawsuit said.

Another detention officer came into the room at one point and told the officers to straighten Neville’s legs. She was in charge of jail operations that night, according to the lawsuit. She made no other suggestions, the lawsuit said.

After five minutes in the prone position, Neville had stopped moving.

A detention officer asked Neville if he was OK and Neville groaned a reply. The officer took that as Neville saying he was fine, the lawsuit said.

By the time the bolt cutters removed the handcuffs, Neville had been in a prone position for 12 minutes. Detention officers removed Neville’s blue jumpsuit and left Neville alone in the prone position in the jail cell.

They went back in and started life-saving measures when Heughins noticed Neville wasn’t breathing.

Nearly 20 minutes after Neville was first placed in the prone position, Heughins started CPR, according to the lawsuit. Neville had to be revived several times both at the jail and at the hospital before he went into a coma. He was declared dead on Dec. 4, 2019.

An autopsy report said Neville died from a brain injury caused when his heart stopped and his brain was deprived of oxygen. He asphyxiated while being restrained with his arms behind his back and his legs folded up, often referred to informally as “hog-tied.”

Holy shit this all sounds so awful.

Hey! That's just about what I do! I make it a little lighter with 40g of coffee and 20oz (591g) of water.

I use a little water to warm up the press, empty it, drop the coffee in, pour maybe 100g of water to get it going and stir then wait a minute, add the rest of the water and brew for 5 minutes, press and enjoy. It comes out just right for my taste and preference for light and medium roast Central American beans.
