The random crying has stopped but baby girl has learned that being vocal works for things she wants 😆

She tried whimpering to go outside yesterday, she sooks for the heater to go on, and today she cried for me to unblock the chair and lift her up. (She’s perfectly capable of jumping but I’m trying to spare her knees)

Sad as fuck

It really sucks. I think everyone is so overworked and frantic that the convenience of social media is now mandatory.

Unfortunately I’m not keen on Facebook already so I probably won’t be giving ID

Agreed. It’s the people with dickish traits that seem to be able to crawl to the top and subjugate the rest of us, is what I meant

I got too hot and turned off the electric blanket… that was a mistake

I agree. Unfortunately the people who benefit from the current power structure have the most power in order to maintain it. I don’t see these people accepting juries or caps on their assets.

There are also often violent repercussions to protesting, and coups tend to just destabilise a region and set up the next dictatorship.

Humans just can’t seem to stop being dicks

Wondering if I should capitulate to joining Discord to keep in touch with people but age verification is going to be demanded at some point and there’s the risk of drama or scams.

I should be doing more housework or trying to exercise but I’m almost ready to nap.

You’re also surrounded by highly critical people and I would think the things said to you would affect your confidence.

Ended up getting a mini blender from Kmart as the standard size were massive. Hope it’s big enough.

I was gifted some salted liquorice so I might have a few pieces now. Edit: ah fuck it’s got fructose syrup in it. Never mind.

There’s a site called Bulk Nutrients that might have something. Also consider adding bacon grease.

It’s not great. She’s probably frustrated and scared, and malnutrition makes a person extremely shirty. I just hope she calms her farm

In the mid-month of winter, cold are our feet. Buy you some slippers? Drink a hot treat?

Edit: EOFY sales are also on. I’m deciding if there’s anything I genuinely could use and putting it in the basket to think about.

Yes Coles are price gougers and part of a duopoly so I hate recommending them.

But if the drop off part of things is a challenge at least there’s the option to use this.

Seems Yarrabyte has got on the beers?

Winter is coming, bills will be high. Do you have tips to help us get by?

An advocacy service over the phone for people living with opioid dependence.

Things are really bad in my area and Victoria is the only Australian state that still charges for methadone. There’s not much I can do individually but share resources and hope it helps someone.
