Mastodon numbers are crazy when compared to the rest of the software on that list. Makes me wonder just how many are active users and/or how many search "Mastodon" after Musk bought twitter, made an account on mastodon.social and left it.

Stuffed animals in general are dope.

Amazing track. Tove Lo was firing on all cylinders with this one. ❤️

I'm really enjoying Lemmy to be honest. A decentralized platform rekindles the feeling of internet forums and the excitement of finding something new in each community. Seeing such a candid report from the developers is nice as well and reaffirms my decision to stay, regardless of reddit's decisions or direction as a platform.

Keep up the great work everyone involved!

I think meta will genuinely cannibalize the rest of the fediverse if they decide to pursue this matter further. Even with the best of intentions, meta being attached to the Fediverse in any way will cause it to consume the overall connotation and understanding to the layman of what the Fediverse is and - by extension - allow meta to reshape the concept however they'd like.

I realize the above is apocalyptic and hyperbolic language for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if they pursue the concept of an instance/server for it to balloon in size with registrations from people and lead to their server becoming the defacto one, which is what I'd personally be afraid of.

Weird. Felt a little self conscious. Mainly did cardio.

That was in 2016. Been 7 years now and it's much better. Seeing progress obviously helps but it's all about consistency to feel more comfortable. Glad you're enjoying going! 💪

Sounds good! Thank you!

Ah I see. I just tested by making a pretty general post/topic on the sub which showed on both kbin and Lemmy. Does this mean I've created a new community for lemmy by doing this (or at least a copy community of the one on kbin just reposting the discussions and sharing the information from one platform to the other?)

EDIT: I think I understand now and understand I didn't "create" the new community.

Streaming services for casual listening, but I have an archive on a home theater PC of music I use for my college radio show with each song in mp3 format.

I was about to say ToTK. Some of the shrines are really good physics puzzles incorporating simple machines like levers and pulleys which can be applicable outside of the game as well.

Superflight

Really engaging game with a short, easy to understand mechanic. It's fun just to put on and fly around for a bit every now and then.

Happy for the success of the sub! I think just ensuring posts for new releases and announcements in pop music are essentially for discussion (the Olivia Rodrigo single announcement being a good example) as that's primarily what I use /r/popheads for. That said, in terms of communities replacing subreddits I frequented this one is definitely the most healthy by a wide margin!

Excited to see this community continue to grow!
