Shortcuts → Automation → When App is opened → set it to Calculator, Run Immediately

Then in the actual shortcut find “Open App” and set it to whatever you want to open, e.g. PCalc.

Just tested it. You’ll briefly see the normal Calculator app, but then it will open PCalc on top of it. Even when opened from the Control Centre.

Are you one of the few people that didn't already buy PCalc? Or if you don't want to spend money, there's Free42.

Aber halt auch das Gegenteil. Dicke Geldverschwendung... Die ganzen Pensionen, ZDF Fernsehgarten auf Malle, überteuerte Sport-Rechte und sinnlose Konkurrenzsituationen.

Ich hatte mal beim Potsdamer Platz gearbeitet und immer guten Einblick in die Ecke, wo während der Berlinale die ganzen Ü-Wagen geparkt haben. Während quasi jeder private Fernsehsender mit einem LKW, teilweise sogar mit einem Kastenwagen oder großen Transporter auskam, war das ZDF immer mit mindestens 3 großen LKW-Anhängern dabei. Dazu dann noch weitere Fahrzeuge von ÖR-Radiosendern. Keine Ahnung mehr, ob ARD auch noch separat vertreten war. Aber das war jedes Mal eine tolle Demonstration, wie man Geld verbrennt, um dann bei der nächsten Kostenfrage der KEF herum zu heulen, dass das Geld vorne und hinten nicht reicht.

ssmtp is also my go-to for this. Or dma (DragonFly Mail Agent) - if available - which provides a queue in case the delivery to the smarthost fails. But as it's not running as a daemon (saving resources), so you have to setup a regular cronjob to process the queued messages.
