Agreed, bsky is currently developing and testing its federation capabilities with multiple servers in-house, which is an elaborate way of scaling but doesn’t actually have the critical necessary component for a federation, ie another entity on the other side. Bsky is the sole operator, administrator, moderator, and arbiter.
SSX 3 is one of my favorite all-time games and the dynamic music was one of the reasons. Not only is the soundtrack full of amazing artists and songs, elements of the tracks duck or swell contextually. As you soar into massive air tricks, the lyrics drop out and then the music crescendos when you nail the landing. When you glide through an ice cave, the leads and highs hush and the bass and rhythm push like an underground river until you reach the surface and the other tracks rush back in. It’s great.
I don’t think my father, the inventor of cantrips, would be too pleased with this.
This is why there are no damn handrails on the Death Star.

That is the argument they are making, yes. What you described is pretty much “felony murder doctrine,” blaming any death that occurs during the commission of a crime on the perpetrators. Felony murder charges have been used very effectively to justify police brutality and excessive force. If a cop kneels on your neck until you die but you were committing a crime, you murdered yourself, they say.
