You need an Apple Watch and a baby for this, but when I forgot to take the baby monitor to grandparents/friends I turn on: Settings -> Accessibility -> Sound Recognition -> Sounds -> Baby Crying -> On
Then I leave my phone in the room where my baby is sleeping and it will send a notification to my watch whenever she is crying.
Also I have an Anker magsafe wallet with built in stand. I prop up the phone to a shelf pointing at the sleeping baby and I can use the apple watch built in camera remote app to check in on her in a live zoomable video feed.
