@tentaclius @mapto@feddit.bg I actually thought it's easy to get residence and work permit. In my head it is then only a matter of time. So it isn't then?

Apparently Vucic suspects Russia is behind the Serbian protests

"We will maintain order in the country, thanks for the attention of our Russian friends, but I want to tell them and tell everyone else that whatever they organize, however much they pay... it's over."

@lvxferre @Nemo so how is the distinction from the last paragraph communicated in a supposedly non-messy language?

Industrial farming in the EU is out of control and is destroying our environment

Someone might think in Europe things are not as bad as in the US, but higher population density means more toxicity per area. In the Balkans the numbers might be lower for now, but we all know control is also weaker.

A report by IBM explains part of the hype around GenAI:

25% of AI initiatives have delivered expected ROI over the last few years

52% of CEOs say their organization is realizing value from generative AI investments beyond cost reduction

For 64% of CEOs the risk of falling behind drives investment in some technologies before they have a clear understanding of the value they bring, but only 37% prefer to be “fast and wrong” than “right and slow”

Serbian Government Minister Calls for Belgrade University Rector's Arrest

Clearly unaware of the notion of academic freedom:
"Serbia's Public Investment Minister Darko Glisic on Friday called for the arrest of the Rector of the University of Belgrade, Vladan Djokic, over his support for the students who have been blocking more than 60 university faculties across Serbia in anti-corruption protests which began in November 2024."

@alsternerd @atomicpoet @fediverse @crossgolf_rebel would be nice if the !group@domain.com reference becomes an ActivityPub standard

@avidamoeba from Masto I don't see any pictures in this post. So no way you can see it from pixelfed. Or am I missing something?

@lurch they thrive on the same fears as AfD, at least CSU does.

@avidamoeba I was expecting CSU (the Bavarian sister party which is much more hard-line) to be the first ones, but CDU beat them to it
