Well, I know this much. They are definitely worth more in a car than a plane.

It will be very telling if he survives in power after this is all over.

I used to make this myself. It was a mission to make.

Exactly. The whole attitude of 'this person doesn't agree with my worldview so I'm going to boycott the channel' is so immature.

I really have this. It's like I've lost a whole year of my life.

Because when that happens, we just find a new rich class, slightly below the ones we just ate. So they go too.. now there is a newest rich class, just below the previous.

And so on, until you're the new rich class.

Here's the source:

https://www.ren.pt/en-gb/media/news/portugal-has-been-using-green-electricity-for-over-24-hours

This... actually doesn't seem like some bullshit accounting. Like, the country actually was running 100% on wind/solar/hydro with 'combined-cycle natural gas power plants' as a backup:

"The availability of natural gas power plants ensures the National Electrical System's necessary service continuity whenever required, whether for market balance, supply security, or occasionally providing a cost-effective production solution, facilitating a safe and sustainable transition to an electrical system increasingly based on renewable production sources."

This is pretty amazing.

I'm with ya buddy. There isn't a single thing I can do, no number of petitions I can sign, that will change a dam thing. No company loses profits to be good for the planet, they only ever do it because they are forced/regulated to. So I vote Green.

I also try to avoid buying shit that just ends up in a landfill, repair/re-use as much as I can.

But it doesn't matter, we're fucked anyway. At least I won't have any guilt. In the meantime I'm going to mountain bike as much as possible before the collapse.
