Rhasspy! If you have home assistant you can integrate into that as well for a replacement for Google Home or Amazon Echo type devices

Lol, Russia killing civilians IN ANOTHER COUNTRY is absolutely terrorism and a war crime vs Ukraine blowing up a bridge in their own country to prevent an invading force from using it to transport ordinance which is absolutely not terrorism

It is when they target civilians in another country

Older sister by the same age range as yourself, OP. As kids we fought, when she made it to college we became closer, when she entered adulthood things got strained as she and my family did not approve of my SO (they were right, she was terrible), and once we were both adults we are friendly. We don't really have much in common as she very much lives a "Leave It To Beaver" type life (kids, house in the burbs, stay at home mom) and my SO and I are DINKs, do extreme sports like rock climbing and backcountry ski/splitboard, and have no plans to have kids (vasectomy on the horizon). So we keep in touch but don't connect on a lot of things besides our shared family members / updates on my nephews

As a manager, I don't give a flying fuck why my team wants to take time off. Wanna sit on your ass and play video games for a week straight, cool all good by me : just let me know the dates, check their PTO balance, and ensure it doesn't conflict with key deliverables and if so either work out a plan for coverage or suggest they look for a different time to take off if possible

No, you can't - all you can do is hide it or push it elsewhere. So long as the cost of living makes life unbearable, drug use will continue : it's a symptom of stress, alienation, and a lack of opportunities

The issue will continue until the underlying causes are addressed. Prevent corporations from buying property by taxing the absolute hell out of third+ homes and taxing if unoccupied. Housing is a necessity, not a commodity and should be treated accordingly.

Lol, not only is it not in Russia but in Russian occupied Ukraine it's also not terrorism, it's war

Correct, dude fell for a honeypot, he wasn't coerced into it. No different than a police sting pretending to be a hooker and arresting a John

Amazon is hardly the worst, just the biggest

The Google bit somewhat makes sense if that was the attack vector but the Russia bit makes little sense other than if they continue to try to annex Ukraine, they'll deface some websites to still show Ukraine as sovereign. I'm all for the move, the justifications though just seem a bit less impactful than just doing the act without comment

"very common" is generous. I grew up in rural GA and never once saw someone actually eat squirrel
