I never use the SmartTV software and apps. I always find them rubbish. Possibly android based? Always buy an AppleTV box to go with tv I find it much better.
It's like asking if someone should buy a speaker system or soundbar to go with the tv when the tv already has speakers.
Quit then! I'm not quitting because I think there ARE decent shows.
When ad comes on I just mute it and have a little chill till it comes back.
If someone paid me to have an ATV 3 I'd never use it because I want to watch on ATV4K.
I posted this the other day. Also submitted a request to Apple, seems like the only thing I can do.
I've been saying this for years. Get a lower cost replaceable device not a £1000 TV which will be EOL in a few years.
Trouble is, most (all?) TVs are smart. I just don't bother with their rubbish built in software and use AppleTV.
This doesn't make sense and is wrong.
I have problems with the centre circle button being right next to the surrounding circular buttons. I often press the outside button when trying to press the centre. It's hard to feel the difference.
