Yeah I'm wildly careless about copying and pasting stuff beginning with "sudo ...". No harm yet, though I do wonder what this process called "totallynotabitcoinminer" is and why my pc has slowed to a crawl.

Jesus it sounds like they took a look at /r/subredditsimulator and thought, "hey let's make the whole site like that".
It's worse than that, when this all started I had a look at their Wikipedia entry. They have 2000 employees across 5 locations. What in the ever loving Christ are they all doing if that app is the best they can do?
They're super cereal this time.
I like mint, never really have to think about it. My ageing workstation is on 24/7 (arrgh) and Plex works just fine. Firefox is fine, google docs or libre office are fine. Things just work.
The one problem I do have is it goes mad and needs a reboot if the monitors go to sleep while one of them is orientated to portrait. So I just switched off sleep and turn them off manually.
