That's exactly what I've been thinking. The Star Wars sequels feel like they were spat out by an AI, or a committee of geriatrics.

It can go either way. I mostly use it on inanimate objects that have injured me.

I believe what this user is referencing is the fact that they had sensors all throughout the carbon fibre hull to detect issues. So there could have been an "oh fuck" period before the instantaneous implosion.

I'd like it how it is now but a bit more active, like reddit circa 2008 when I first joined. Sure there were memes and shitposts, which are fun and have their place, but even then the discussions on news stories and other serious topics were of unusually good quality. Tildes captures the later quite well, but is also pretty quiet.
