I have a series 8 and I charge it in the evenings when I put my kid to bed. Takes an hour or less.

Yep all day. I charge it when I put my kid to bed. I like the activity and heart rate tracking. The sleep tracking is cool too.
It’s aight, I use it sometimes. But with the new UI I’ve tended to use the simpler faces and just wheel through widgets for my extra data.
Series 8 or 9 should work well for you
I might switch to my formal watch face.
