We are absolutely dating Europe again lol. China knows. America is a bit preoccupied.

Starmer is annoyingly good at the international stuff

When I was 14 a shopkeeper sold us single cigs for 50p shg. If you want to break the law there's a way and usually someone willing to make some money. Doesn't make smoking at 14 right.

Happy to have the convo with my kids and for part of that to be “don’t break the law”. Also expect them to break the law. Happy for that to be part of learning what is healthy from unhealthy.

I think pornography should only be seen by adults

While I get that sentiment its becoming clear to me that the corps are increasingly supplying data and inferencing models to governments.

Moving forward the business model for data collection is less about advertising and more about social 'guidance'. The extreme is Palantir supplying ICE with AI maps and they then knock on doors of immigrants.

But we can expect a lot more creative coercion moving forward. It will affect us all

Hope she commits to the microwave bit

I love this. €610 for the community developer edition though. And I don't really have time for another project. Will make some folks very happy though

I called it two for two on Monkey Business and Arctic Fox and am feeling smug. How is everyone else doing?

Here's my current guesses:

Toastie: Mica Paris

Red Panda: I actually have no idea. Everybody thinks its Simon le Bon putting on a series of funny voices. Maybe he'll knock it out of the park in the final

Can of Worms: Danny John Jules

Conkers: Tom Daley

Moth: Keisha Buchanan

Sloth: Jack Whitehall

Does anybody know what models Lumo uses?

I'm not looking for an argument. I just looked at the one I own and the same one (large screen with pen) that Kobo makes. None of this is by force. I'm not here to promote Remarkable. Let's kiss and move on x

I get all my stuff second hand anyway. But just checked and Kobo Elipsa 2E is £349 and Remarkable 2 is £389 so it's not that different really. Not that I'm paying that amount for either.

I guess it all depends on what you get out of it though. I use my Remarkable every day so am seriously considering a second hand Paper Pro Move 2 when they come through into the market. Spend your money where you spend your time and all that

I was doing some investigation into where all my tech is based and Remarkable e-ink tablets are based out of Oslo, Norway.

I love my Remarkable Paper Pro and was thinking of getting the Move 2 so this is good news to me. Thought I'd share.
