The GTA 6 leaks were in September 2022, so a little more than two weeks ago!

If we're considering testosterone to be a PED, perhaps we should ban everyone from sports...

On a more serious note: why not advocate for putting people into "testosterone-level groups", similar to how boxing, etc, do it with weight classes? Rather than just excluding trans women from competing.

I also feel I have to ask: how do you feel about your niece losing in competitions to cis women who have biological advantages, such as higher (natural) testosterone levels, longer limbs, bigger hands, smaller busts, etc?

I don't think consumers were the target of the scam; if they were, I don't see a reason why they wouldn't have accepted pre-orders for the game. In fact, I think they know that accepting pre-orders would have left them open to false advertising lawsuits which is why they didn't go for them, and I think they were well aware that people could just refund the game so trying to scam consumers (in this instance) was probably not worth attempting.

Instead, I think the investors were the target. The brothers who own(ed?) the studio have been living off investor money for the last few years, and which how suspicious their finances are (their ludicrously high travel expenses, in particular) I'm sure they've hidden away a bunch more money.

The game that exists is a shameless, cheaply-made asset flip that I suspect only exists at all because it makes it much harder for investors to sue for fraud when there's an actual product. If they'd just tried to take the money and run without releasing anything it'd be obvious fraud, but now they can claim they tried their best, expectations were too high, etc, and it's difficult for the investors to prove otherwise.

Would you kindly?

That one appears to have turned out to not be the case, fortunately. He wrote up a very long post with a lot of receipts (which is worth a read). He filed a libel suit against his two accusers, which ended up being settled out of court with a large payout in his favour and with the accusers retracting their accusations, categorically saying he had never sexually abused either of them (or any other women to their knowledge).

It was satisfactory enough for me, personally.

Ideally, OP's crawlers will just come from their own instance that other instance owners can defederate from if they want to opt out.

You felt much more strongly about it than me then. I just found myself not caring about it in the slightest; the only thing I really felt was boredom. Which is arguably the worst possible outcome for any work of art.

Not voting for Biden isn’t a vote for Trump

It's also essentially you declaring that you don't really mind if Trump gets in. If you were opposed to Trump, you'd actively try to stop him gaining power again. If you're not voting in a way where you try to prevent him gaining power, sure, you're not actively supporting him, but you're still willing to sit by while fascism rears its head. That is what people are judging you for.

To pick an extreme analogy: if there's a child drowning and you're in a position where you could easily save them but choose not to because you saw that child being mean to someone once, no-one's going to call you a child murderer but people are going to judge the hell out of you for being "the guy who doesn't save drowning children".

So yes, vote abstinence is an option. But I'd argue what's more a part of your "civic duty" is to prevent fascists rising to power when you personally have a say in preventing that.

I'm pretty sure the opposite of "critical thinking" is "free thinking", at least based on all the "free thinkers" I've spoken to. I assume it's short for "free-of-critical-thought... thinking".

She's also an evangelist, pro-conversion therapy, a TERF, and a staunch defender of Suella Braverman. She thinks LGBTQ rights charities teach "extreme ideologies that don't have a basis in science" and she felt that, when COVID was in full swing, focusing on protecting the elderly only had a short-term effect on the "longevity of older people" and that the government should have instead focused on the "long term impact of lockdowns on young peoples' lives".

She's a piece of work.
