We really need to get some judges who will reliably rule against fascists. We can't get new judges, so I wonder how many liberal judges could be persuaded that cock blocking Republicans is a higher calling right now than impartiality is.

Even if Musk wasn't a Nazi, he's still a big enough douchebag that I wouldn't want to buy a car associated with him. And even if he wasn't a douchebag, the Cybertruck has demonstrated what kind of stupid shit Tesla does when they take orders from him. And even without Musk's influence, I still wouldn't buy a Tesla because there are so many other options on the market, and people have gotten very vocal about things like the build quality of Tesla cars.
That's gotta start hurting their stock price at some point.

I disagree with only one point there: while America as a political entity is like a crazy crackhead, it's like a very heavily armed crazy crackhead. Treat the prospect of being invaded by the US the same way Ukrainians treated the prospect of being invaded by Russia. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst, because the US military is really good at wrecking whole countries even if it sucks at occupying them.
If you wait until you actually need a gun, it's too late. You can't just walk into a gun store and leave with a gun that day. Any by the time the shooting starts, it will probably be impossible for left-leaning people to pass a background check anyway.

I think switching away from master/slave vocabulary is probably for the best. Getting rid of "master" in other contexts seems dumb to me because master has always had many uses not connected to slavery.
One that I surprisingly find myself agreeing with is replacing blacklist and whitelist with allow list and deny list, but not because I think using colors is racially insensitive; it's because allow and deny are more clear to people from different cultural backgrounds.
Just because someone is a bigot doesn't mean they aren't following a plan. Testing the waters and normalizing bigoted thinking are things bigots do on purpose.

The fascists have gotten so much mileage out of exploiting problems in our government that everyone has known about for decades but that nobody ever bothered to fix.
