Hmm interesting. I guess this should go on the dev's todo list, if its not already there.

Hold up... they stopped using Massive Attack as the intro music for House? I must have stopped watching it by the time it changed.
I look at in different terms. If the more moderate members of a group (lemmy.ml), stop engaging with extremists (lemmygrad).. the extremists will be stuck in an echo chamber with no stabilising influence.
My wife claps during the Friends intro credits. Every time. EVERY. TIME.
She'll be in the other room, and hear it on the TV... I hear the clap clap, clap clap from her as it plays.
Fascism, racism and qanon are all black and white "not cool". Communism and anarchism are much more nuanced schools of thought.
Absolutely there are extremists from all parts of the political spectrum. I guess my point is that being communist in itself is a part of the spectrum. There are undoubtably parts of it I'd consider extremist. But the only place I've seen anything that extreme was on lemmygrad, which has thankfully been defederated by nearly everyone. lemmy.ml is the largest instance I'm aware of that still federates with them.
GDPR compliance will only be an issue for EU based instances though I guess. Which rules mine out :)
Being communist or anarchist is not extremism.
I love the style, nice work.
Currently... all very new and I'd say more like the latter. I'm not a lawyer, but I assume GDPR has exemptions for non-business ventures?
I do have accounts on other instances, but thats really just for if my main one is offline for some reason. I use this one to sub and participate, no matter which instance the community is hosted on. ie the one we're on right now is homed to lemmy.ml
Yes, in your settings. It even warns you to not remove "Undetermined" as many posts will show as that.
