Not gonna lie, I wouldn't know how to manage seeing a guy use a grinder on some bikes.

I wanted a folding bike for this purpose but it would only be good for going to work and back. I can't just walk around a mall or something carrying a folding bike :/

To be fair, a lot of the British are wanting to return a lot of the foreigners to their home countries 👀

Watching all these C grade students take over is so annoying.

It'd be actually interesting if they all weren't so intellectually dishonest as well as stupid.

That'd be a hilarious tramp stamp.

Most social media stuff.

Omg did you hear X did Y?

I guess I'm just old but I don't follow most. Even with dogpiling PirateSoftware. Yes, he's wrong and probably lied. I just don't get the hype around it. I'm happy that the hype led to Stop Killing Games getting enough traction though, that was nice.

I have never heard of this. Thank you so much!

I meant that the fans were annoying as fuck. I think my post was to highlight that I enjoyed the episodes but hated the fans that came out of it.

Trey and Matt aren't like climate scientists or whatever, they're comedy writers with a political edge. Even if they're blatantly wrong with their commentary I don't really blame them. It's that we take them too seriously.

I'm an extrovert and I love seeing people and I make plans that people bail on all the time. Almost always last minute.

At the same time, I kinda get it. There's a lot of build up and expectation to do stuff and it feels like a relief to no longer be obliged to do.

The anti-climate change, pro-Walmart, pro-Starbucks whatever-era was annoying as fuck. Like you said, it's not directly South Park but their annoying fans taking their shit too seriously.

Internet threads talking about climate change had some "man bear big" bullshit going around.

The thing is that I watched South Park during that time too and I loved a lot of the episodes. I just didn't take their commentary too seriously. I'm just like, "well they're obviously wrong". I was a Richard Dawkins fan and had no problem with them skewering him at the time either.

Remember that OpenAI is whining about DeepSeek using distillation to take all of their hard work and just using it! That's unfair!

Hi all,

I'm traveling for a few months so I picked up a used gaming laptop from one of those trading sites. It's an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 2024.

I initially went with Windows because I wanted to game. I was gonna miss my terminal for dev and a bunch of other things but I thought compatibility and not dealing with hassle was more important for now. The thing is, for some reason, the laptop would be running really hot all the time ... even when idling.

I got fed up and I put Pop OS! loaded steam with the compatibility stuff and ran a few games really well. My only issue so far was that the laptop keyboard didn't work during installation but after an update it was fine. The laptop obviously gets hot when running games but when idling it runs really cool.

This is now making me feel like I can convert my gaming desktop over as well!

I was considering Bazzite too? Anyone know if it's worth it?

This was originally titled: 1 Christian v 20 Atheists, but it seems they changed it after JP keeps muddying the waters.

Update: I get why most of you wouldn't want to watch the video. I went to a men's group therapy session and went after the organizer for recommending me a Jordan Peterson book. I get it. The video, however, isn't a Jordan Peterson channel (yes I know we're still bumping him in the algorithm) but I think it fit the community for sure.

I just don't get why you would comment: "I'm not watching that." Congrats dude. I know it's for you, not every video is. There is some value in seeing Peterson get dunked on and seeing the way he weasels out of things and getting called out. If you think it's not worth the cost of watching the video. I'm not going to disagree with that. That's cool too. We can all be cool about things.

I didn't sign up for any list. I also heard that you shouldn't text STOP to these messages because they use that as confirmation of my number?

I reported it to spam, I'm just curious if these are legit and how you handle these?

I'm watching a video by Zac Rios about people buying lavish Easter Baskets for their kids and such:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDfCjp9fSGI

I know there's an Easter hunt in school and for kids and stuff, but I've never received or heard anyone receiving an Easter basket as a gift living in Canada/UK for the past 40 years of my life.

I googled and "Google AI" says that it is a thing in Canada, but I don't trust it.

Is this a thing that I've completed missed? If this is a tradition for you, where are you from and how long have you done this?
