My friends and I walked out on that like 30 minutes in ... then it came through in the cheap seats 2nd run theater and we tried it again. Walked out after 35 minutes. Fool me twice? Lol

I was there last year, and the staff said they had bought adjacent property with plans to build a TNG bridge recreation, too. Its a cool little gem tucked away in Ticonderoga :)

I get the concept of the Fediverse.. and signed up/in on the sh.itjust instance (only to be defederated by Beehaw, but I digress)

Even pre-pandemic I stopped. People talking over the film, phones in use, way too cold, SFX louder than dialogue, STOOPID expensive ...

Honestly, I have had my hands full acclimating to the fediverse, bumping between instances to "try them on for size" over the last several days post-Rexxit . . . And the growth just in that short span has been exponential.

I suspect Lemmy will rival the hugeness sooner than you think.

Plus, its been kinda cool to sort by "New" to find new communities/magazines and actual quality content!

I agree, I believe there will be an organic selection process as the flood of rexxitors finds their preferred spaces.
