Here in lies the problem with capitalism.

Everything has to earn money.

In movies if someone comes up with an original script. No one will know the title, it's not marvel or whatever so suits won't greenlight it because nobody knows if it will churn a profit.

Americans became monsters because anyone on a social machine justifies Elon Musk + Donald Trump behavior because "It's the Internet, this isn't IRL". People who no longer distinguish White House 4Chan in c/ClownPopulation@lemm.ee

That's where I have to disagree with you.

School since 2007? The point of school is to teach basic fundamentals of math,writing,reading which if anyone pays attention these days is how we learned.

Don't tell me watching YouTube videos is how we should learn because the massive flaw besides countless other logical flaws is that you have to learn to read first and understand basic computer skills not too mention that being on yt alone is massive distraction.

Again education needs an overhaul no doubt, and should be shortened and not about tests. College/university as well.

I mean you really can't do much.

The only way democracy lasts or has any chance of survival, is government subsidized and or free college education with a robust public education. Which actual good public schools exist in what 15 states? Not a good metric.

So with ignorance and stupidity, we suffer.

I mean American society. It forces us to atomize and be individuals, to be tough and independent.

Even though in most societies we help each other survive, do things together.

We don't ask for help out of perceived view of being weak.

The problem now is we have the internet, it's a double edged sword. We can dispel our ignorance and find answers to questions, but we also now gave idiots and morons not only a voice, but range to be heard. And some people should never ever express their opinions ever.

I cannot tell you how many times I purchased, or bought services by word of mouth of friend or family than a internet/tv/roadside advertisement. Were so inundated by ads, if I see an ad on TV or the internet at this point, and I know I'm not alone. Most of us assume whatever is being sold is shit/ a lie.
