Bicolored leggins with horizontal strips. Yes.
Or on top of an other dress whose ample skirt will be seen through the slits.

I might be able to customized my jeans myself into this. Very nice.

I like that I can easily do the same on a pair of high rise jeans with a few cheap belts.

Depending on the fabric that could be either the best coat I have or the worse I'll never bought.

I always felt like this kind of dress are pretty when cut just below the knees but also I guess body types play a big influence.

Vacations are nice and everything but I have worked all year long on my complexion.

Love it too but there is a missed opportunity for using the vertical strips only at the corset for extra illusion of thin waist

I love the jacket.

I love the look of the glasses but I'm not sure how confortable it is to watch through this.

I buy most of my clothes second hand, the quality is much better for the price but when I look for something precise, too replace something wear out for example, rather than a new piece for my wardrobe, it take me a lot of time to find what I look for. Meanwhile, fast fashion brand sells lots of clothing that seems exactly what I need except that the quality is fast fashion quality :(

Is there any general advices you have to improve bad quality clothing?

Here is two specific examples that really disturb my shopping experience:

  • T-shirt that have not T, because the cloth piece under the arm has been removed. The t-shirt looks fine, folded or wear with your arms lying against your body but as soon a you raise them, in a T, or high to reach some high shelf, the whole t-shirt raises with them
  • Long sleeves than a just long enough to keep your arms lying against your body. If you go for a crazy move, like using your hand, you hand up with almost 3/4 sleeves.

What do you think? Is there anything that can be done to improve these type of badly cut clothes? What about all the others? With loose stitches, bad made buttons... You know what fast fashion looks like.

I'm looking into hosting my personal instance of some fediverse software. I want to do it to grow my tech-literacy more than to host my own service. So I want to pick one in the fediverse, because I love the federation concept, but I'm open to a software I don't use yet.

I have made previous attempt at hosting internet services a few years ago, mainly things my teachers told me to do. It was a big failure and I mostly remember from it that I got a hard time understanding instructions given on internet tutorials or at which point what I did was different from what my classmates did :( But I want to try again and do better! 😤

I plan on hosting it on a old laptop I hope not to break completely and maby in a docker container (but I also used to have a hard time with docker)

What fediverse software would you recommend me? Is there one that is easier to install than another? Or one with more clear installation instructions?

Thanks for your advice!

I'm a bit lost here. Should I use british conventions? US conventions? Is there indian conventions? Or maybe cultural points I should be aware of?

Google is confusing me more than it is helping me?

Thanks.

I am trying to plant palm trees from date pits. I've already done it. It's a very long process that takes about a year to show a recognisable palm. The date pit has to be first immerged in water for at least 15 days and up to 3 weeks. Then in wet cotton for the same time. Finally, we can plant it. The palm should be water only when the soil is fully dry.

I've been using cactus soil last time but they are sold in big quantity and I don't want so much of it. Which kind of soil could replace it, preferably sold in smaller quantity? Are there soil especially made for palm trees?
