Props, I don't mean to imply we all need to shoehorn old technology in everywhere, but there are definitely spaces for it, and I also believe knowing how to use these tools are a great skillset to have.

thread seems to heavily favor Sekiro, it had been on my "rebuy" list when on sale for quite some time, and I remember the game fondly but feeling like I just could not nail the parry timings!
I'm going to give it another shot and save Night Reign for a future sale since I don't really have too many soulsborne gamer friends and I don't really want to play alone or with randos (get enough of that on hell divers 2 where I can at least carry a bit).

seems like the strong consensus in this thread, going to pull the trigger and ACTUALLY beat it this time, last time I got stuck on the first real skill check (tower boss) and I didn't have the time or the attention span to make it through.
