Dear OP, ~~I hope you and your family and friends and relatives and co-workers are well~~
To nip it in the bud it's entirely the influence of the overly polite English and since Brexit this has deteriorated (de-Tory-ated). Just saying 😀

Lovely 🙂 💚
Maybe it's this one (I'm in a rush here 🙂) ? https://youtube.com/watch?v=VHHT6W-N0ak Someone in the comments writes that the full interview is in the channel of Linux Foundation : https://piped.video/channel/UCfX55Sx5hEFjoC3cNs6mCUQ
Let's add PFAS to the conversation. Greed of capitalism had no boundaries cause enough money for most would bring well being as well, right ? Right ? We're doomed. But let's enjoy it while it lasts.
Like, the REPL won’t show, just a blank terminal, I use Kitty; but the emulator that is default (GNOME?) won’t work either.
Here on an Arch Linux install with GNOME, Fish shell is doing fine as login shell on Tilix and GNOME terminal. A search engine search for "fish kitty" does show results which appear to indicate other people with issues.
Thank you Gentoo Linux for this.
Fish is fine as login shell. If you run into trouble on the command line with the * sign for some things the easiest and fastest way around that is to type : bash
and when done, type exit
(or control d).
🙂 Had some crosswalks and bikes too, but motorcycles were dominant. Maybe Google Streetview should add some more nature photos ? Trees, plants, meadows, rivers.
Yes. Proton and New York Times have rather comfortable reCAPTCHA nowadays. And Cloudflare migrated to hCAPTCHA. The problem that I came across is Google reCAPTCHA for some sites that apparently have it not configured correctly or too strict. I've been on sites where I have to solve one Google reCAPTCHA and you're through, each and every time. For certain sites (Like narkive mailing list archives) it appears to be impossible to get through as Tor browser user.
Not wanting to see ads is not just about money. Firefox offers the build-in Reader View mode for clutter free reading which is like a breath of fresh air. Several people including myself have problems getting too many impulses, or attention-grabbers if you wish, e.g. like web page pop-ups, banners, ads and what not. Besides that I do like to be manipulated. Now you can say : "Pay Google for no ads" but there's the privacy aspect.
