Oh, the plots are ever as cheesy as the covers, but she does know how to spin a good yarn.

Gruyere. Just the right amount of sharpness and hardness. Goes well with crackers, grilled, or with salami.

Are you mad? That's horrible! First they'll do a congestion charge, then they'll put bike lanes back, then ban cars altogether and turn downtown into a walkable utopia!

/s in case it's not obvious

It is undeniable that the strike is hurting businesses. That's the point of a strike - to highlight the value of the workers' service. The news services shouldn't be blamed for reporting on it, but they should be dragged over hot coals for spinning this as the workers' fault instead of the crown corporation's fault. Don't blame the workers for striking, blame the decisions that led to workers finding no other recourse but to strike.

No, that's the [other place] mentality. Upvote if you want to increase visibility to the post. For example, there may be a post with a link to an article about some politician doing something I disagree with. I would still upvote it if the post allows me to discuss why I disagree with said action.

Downvote if the content is harmful to the community (for example spam, overt racism, etc).

A used corporate surplus laptop would be far better.

This is a good opportunity to shamelessly plug refurb.io - I've bought machines for my family there. If you can stand the occasional appearance blemish it's a very reliable site.
