From what people write online, some people feel like it happened suddenly. Not sure about their memories. Anyway, i read that it seems like the forgetting of infant memories is an active and deliberate process.

Seems so. In the few media I'm slightly more familiar with, the headlines are written by someone else with the aim of drawing in more readers and the authors of the articles themselves have no control over it.

The headline is horrible (haven't read the actual article). As I undrstamd the topic, Uranus radiates more heat than previously measured, but still less than our models suggest it should.

I think that when you exert some pressure on blood vessels, the blood has to have higher pressure to pass through. While arteries work at higher pressure, veins have a lower pressure. So in the arteries deliver blood regardless, while veins accumulate more than usual until they are pressurized enough to let excess blood through the cuffs, accumulating blood in the legs. All of this is purely my speculation, though.

Very cool, thank you for an amazing answer!

Is the focus stacking done locally on Curiosity to save bandwith, or on Earth after sending multiple images?

Elastic ring that can measure how much it streched.

Not quite. It's based on real wavelenths detected, but they might've been arificially assigned colours (although I think the images this is based on sort of correspond to human perception). But the colours are massively adjusted and contrast increased way past the point I would consider reasonable.

It's interesting. I only read a bit so far and it is definitely right sometimes, but I think it often misses the point. For example complaining that the magic system doesn't make sense is silly, since the magic is obviously trying to appear the same as in the original books (where it makes much less sense) while creating an impression that there might be some rules behind it and it being unintuitive and opaque is the whole point, since the rules are hard to find, else they would be found long ago.

I think this is the last one:

Admiting that you make mistakes and don't know everything and change your opinion when you know more is not just okay, it is a necessary basic skill. There is no way to even have a discussion without it.

You realize you are in a privacy comunity, right?

Hello,

let's try and make a cog wheel on the Canvas. Space is getting limited, but I believe we still might squeeze in.

Here's a template (after moving to a new area): https://canvas.fediverse.events/#x=921&y=276&zoom=1&tu=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FgbA1i7V.png&tw=43&tx=536&ty=339&ts=ONE_TO_ONE
