I'm in Vic and work once called for a wellbeing check-in on me (bipolar). Thankfully the main cop spoke to seemed lovely and just wanted to chat, asked me what day it was etc. to check whether I was psychotic or not. His partner was much more.... Shitty. Asked only a couple of questions but made it feel like an interrogation that put me on edge and that made him more on edge. The main cop shut him down though thankfully.

Eh, he was also kinda creepy in some of his stuff too. As with everything, take the good, drop the bad.
Thank you, appreciate it
I met her at a night some friends run that cater to the comedy crowd. Was also so uplifting and chatty. So sad to hear the news...
Dealing with work and personal stress today. Work is more I'm having to work around someone in my team who is... Shit. Personal is just relationship stuff. We need to sort out our communication style because right now we escalate fights because of miscommunication. We're sorting it out and going to see a relationship counsellor which will be good,
So just stressed as both personal and professional stuff is meh. Also my deep-fryer overflowed tonight and I'm pissed about it since it shouldn't have happened and now cleaning up the mess. :P
Stressed out and can't sleep sadly. Work is doing my head in....
Daylight savings fucks with my sleep for at least a week and I'm waking up way too early*
Stressing a bit about work just because there's too much shit going on and feel like I'm just meeting jumping. Probably going to get reamed by management when they get back on Monday for not having enough stuff done although I'm not sure when I was supposed to have the time to do it...
*for me...
There is also dancesafe.org that's been around for 25-odd years in the US too. Ever since I heard about it in the late 90s/early 2000s I thought we should totally have an org like that here in Aus too.
Oh sorry, I went a bit tangential with my thinking there :) Yeah IUDs are usually very effective - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huy2H7fJnV4
Dark Helmet: I am your father’s brother’s nephew’s cousin’s former roommate.
Lone Star: So what does that make us?
Dark Helmet: Absolutely nothing.
Good to hear! Yeah they're fairly liberal with giving vasectomies here, plus most are 'microsurgery' ones which are technically* reversible. I've heard trying to get women's steralisation is SIGNIFICANTLY harder though unfortunately and a lot is "Oh, well you might want kids later!"
*Maybe...
I remember seeing something on Bamboo too and how we should be trying harder to grow it and use it as a core material. But growers are also reluctant. I admit I'm a bit outside of my domain of expertise on this but it seems we could be doing a lot better.
