I truly don't understand their strategy. You dominate the game for three quarters being aggressive. Then when you just need four minutes to run off the clock you completely do the exact opposite of the thing that was working.

He is the defensive coordinator so not only would you be firing the head coach you be firing the defensive coordinator.
And I think we all kind of agree that Luke getsy sucks too.
They literally can't fire the head coach. Not without getting an entirely new coaching staff in there at the same time and there's no way you can do that mid season. You only fire your head coach. If you're just going to let your defensive coordinator or your offensive coordinator assume the head coach role. But you cannot do that here because they would need a new defensive coordinator

That's a crazy hot take but I love it!
I'd also like to point out that outside of that they have to unbelievably good undrafted free agents in Jack Sanborn and tyson bagant. I don't think either one of them is necessarily a world beater but we're getting value out of them for dirt cheap comparatively and their good backups.
I know that's not the championship crown or anything for a GM but it is getting value . And that's sure as shit a plus in my book.
