a can of soda can cool faster in the freezer for ~30 min.
some people suggest adding an insulated sleeve.
i also use freezer to cool down coffee quickly.

i did a bit of searching:
crucial keywords: clinical and "medical necessity" [in this case..] on reddit in /r/radiology

added: other relevant keywords might be.. for /r/askdocs would be: mri cost ordered

heres what i found: https://www.reddit.com/r/Radiology/comments/52zz0d/not_lazy_its_just_a_matter_of_principle/

but in the process of searching i , at least, saw that there are cases where clinical mri can probably be really essential(excluding missed diagnosis).

i also found this:
https://web.archive.org/web/20211222131242/https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/964856 but i suspect it may be sponsored. (2022)

it gives hope to what otherwise seems to be out of sight.

the i3/sway scratchpad feature is handy. extra esp at beginner stage.

the actual cost of mri in a clinical/diagnostic setting seems exorbitant. but actually for scientific research it could be very productive.

better documentation eg: of cli commands would be an essential first step.

i would speculate that [mild?] hypo vs hyper may have different advantages/disadvantages at various stages of life.
but idk. #dyr #factcheck

a way more radical approach would be to distribute the database openly as a torrent file. everyone peers it and everyone downloads it [or parts]. then plug in the data to the client.
