I also was just looking, and that "reasonable price if you prepay for two years" nonsense is, well, nonsense. I ain't exactly looking to spend $120+ all at once while crossing my fingers in the hopes the service doesn't suck.

Kaspersky seems like a good move, the page is saying it renews at $40/yr which is only $10 more than my current provider. Only five devices is a shame, though.

That's interesting to know about, I guess. I signed up ages ago, on a lifetime $30/yr deal, so they'd have to do something genuinely evil for me to consider some service that's 2-4x the price.

Monotherapy gang! 2mg oral E halved my T, 4mg brought it down to under 1 mmol/L, and now I'm welll under 0.5mmol/L on 8mg.

Once again happy with my decision to use Torguard ages ago.

how are you all reading so fast? I've barely read through the introduction.

[–] lapis@hexbear.net 7 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

my interpretation is the compass is referring to the character on the right, not the character on the left, so:

  • top left - anarchist tries to fix commie, becomes commie
  • top right - fascist tries to fix communist, mysteriously disappears while commie smirks
  • bottom left - commie tries to fix anarchist, becomes anarchist
  • bottom right - ancap tries to fix commie, commie nopes tf outta there

EDIT: but if this is right, I think top left and bottom left should be swapped?

Content warnings: at least one of each, really.

Could always spoiler it instead? Which works for me both on the hexbear web interface and the mobile lemmy app I'm using. e.g.,

Spoiler Titlespoiler text and stuff

Damn, looked up some reviews and you’re absolutely right. So it’s probably still a nice read for a straight or bi transfem wanting representation, but fuck us transbians, I guess.

Ah, I was under the impression it was about a trans girl finding herself and her cis friend falling for her (and vice verse). Sad if it's just unrequited love on one side.
