I always find it amazing when you hear these insights into the downfall of once huge companies. It's incredible how terrible some people's judgement can be and a lot of these successful people are riding on luck rather than intelligence it seems

Aha true dat pal! When a had ma 2007 Ford Fiesta, the mechanic praised it because "wyndie windaes - cheap tae fix"!

Me n the missus watchin any auld shite on the tele atm and blaitherin awa' an makin plans (unsuccessfully) for the morra.

That sounds braw, well jealous ae seein Manran and the pipes an aw. No a musical bone in ma body unfortunately!

Thinkin ae gaen tae Botanic Gairdens the morra (Dundee) but it'll probably end up pishing doon knowing ma luck!

I think the fact that it's very chemically stable is likely a factor as well so it can be stored for effectively an infinite amount of time & it won't degrade/react, it'll still be gold.
