I need to find a charger with a nearly indestructible neck area.
In order to use the CarPlay functionality in my car, I have to connect my phone via lightning cable; but unless the charger connection is pristine, the car won’t recognize that an iPhone is plugged in. Since the little neck joints on iPhone chargers get damaged so easily, the connection inevitably gets too spotty and I have to stop using that charging cable to connect to CarPlay, even if it still works to charge the phone. I have gone through over a dozen chargers this year.
Does anyone have a favorite, SUPER durable charging cable recommendation? I’ve tried buying the ones that are labeled “durable” online, but have the same breakdown issue within a few weeks. Unfortunately, my car does not support wireless CarPlay.
