Offensichtlich nicht, die diplomatische Arbeit muss halt Biden bzw. sein Außenministerium leisten, da es das nicht tut sind Teile seiner Partei und grundsätzlich der Bevölkerung dementsprechend aufgebracht das halt beleidigt und schlecht argumentiert wird. Dadurch das teils beleidigt und schlecht argumentiert wird ist die Position derjenigen nicht falsch.

Diejenigen welche jetzt Stimmung gegen Biden machen tun das genau deswegen jetzt weil der wirkliche Wahlkampf noch nicht begonnen hat, sie werden mit einer großen Sicherheit für Biden wählen und auch für ihn Wahlwerbung machen, jetzt in die Offensive zu gehen ist eine Taktik um die Position der Demokraten zu stärken bevor der Wahlkampf beginnt und sich wirklich die gesamte Medienlandschaft auf jegliche Kritik stürzt. Wenn Biden jetzt noch dazu gebracht werden kann seine Platform um populäre potentiell linke Positionen zu erweitern, ob jetzt zu dem Thema oder auch einigen anderen, anstatt sich von den Republikanern die Wahlkampfthemen diktieren zu lassen ist viel gewonnen.

Mag ja sein aber die Vorwahl ist ja eh gewonnen und insofern muss sich Biden in der partei selber nicht durchsetzten.

Klar das ist für Biden und die demokratische Parteielite ein sehr großer Schritt von der momentanen relativ Status quo Linie, aber eben genau deswegen wäre es wohl für viele wähler ein gutes Zeichen, da sich eben mehr von Biden gewünscht wird als einfach nur nicht Trump zu sein. Nicht Trump zu sein ist halt leider keine gute Platform, und gefühlt ist die Demokratische Partei Grade dabei genau diese Plattform zu fahren. Ernsthafte diplomatische Arbeit in Nahost währe immerhin irgendwas.

Die Apathie ist das was die Demokraten mmn. Primär bekämpfen sollten, dann kann man auch nen bisschen Abwanderung an die Reps verkraften weil man ja noch ~35% Nichtwähler hatte die man abholen kann.

Wenn linke, schwarze und muslimische Demokraten Stimmung gegen den demokratischen Kandidaten machen, hat das durchaus Auswirkungen auf das Wahlergebnis des demokratischen Kandidaten gegen Trump.

Jo vor allem wenn Biden in Konsequenz einlenkt und zu diesem Thema eben eine vernünftige Lösung versucht zu erzwingen. Wenn Biden auch nur eine temporäre Feuerpause gebacken bekommt kann er sich Verhältnis mäßig einfach stimmen einfangen von Leuten die momentan hauptsächlich sagen: "Ja es wird der Kandidat der Demokraten gewählt aber alle Kandidaten hier bei dieser Vorwahl repräsentieren mich nicht."

Every political position mostly tries to define in which ways violence is to be used. Realising this and knowing power is already established before you were even born. Seeing violence being used against your oppressor(s) is often times the only thing we feel we can still hope for.

Or from another perspective, is the war in Ukraine worth it for Ukraine or Russia, can you really say a war with so many deaths is preferable to being a russian subject, or an international embarrassment of the Russian state. Is the self determination of Palestinians really worth the terror and the war. We're the PIRA justified in bombing London for their brother's and sisters discrimination and deaths in Ireland. It's ultimately all subjective, wether the violence of the system you fight against is bad enough you can bring yourself to fight.

Nothing brings back anyone but as long as there are people who want to, and do turn us into their machines, we have to rely on our interpretation of that being wrong, and fight them for it.

That doesn't mean that the content of their claimed political thought doesn't have meaning, or that we can never conclude anything about humanity or its ideologies from looking at history, understanding theory, analyzing culture, power ...

I think some of this might be right but I expect much more people to calculate/estimate more regularly than they are measuring. And if you are working fully in numbers metric seems much more reasonable. You can easily calculate without converting and even if you have mixed units you can just throw in 10^-+N very simply.

What you're trying to describe is named public transit not robottaxi, especially the argument that driverless cars will reduce transportation costs doesn't make any sense. It adds complexity to an already incredibly inefficient mode of transport. For road train like trucking on highways maybe it makes sense, for personal transportation on arbitrary streets it just doesn't make any sense.

There is no technology to help aging gracefully, it's in the respect and help of our peers and in our interactions with them, in the structure of our communities... Entering the sterile empty self driving car isn't actually more dignified than being picked up by a real human being. And sitting down in a tram or metro isn't less dignified than being shuttled around by a driverless vehicle.

It's not fuck Progress, it's fuck Cars, just because asbestos or coal power were progress at some point doesn't mean we should embrace them forever, the same goes for cars and self driving changes nothing about that. The only reason they'll probably exist for the foreseeable future is because the rights holders are able to use Spotify to have more negotiating power against Google and apple.
