I still don't get why this has picked up so much steam lately. All this info came out years ago and it was widely known at the time. We've had a de facto admission of guilt for ages but for some reason we've all decided to talk about it like we're just learning about it now.

Is that functionally different in your mind? Perhaps it is slightly different if we assume they're going to stop here and not take it any further but that seems obviously untrue so I'm not sure why the distinction matters.

What do you imagine will replace American influence if what you are asking for comes to pass?

What do you know? You're just an AI

That's probably the idea. We should agree that weather modification is bad, pass these bills, then turn around and define oil and gas operations as activity designed to modify weather.

Sounds pretty on brand to me

People don't deserve to be murdered

I don't think I agree with such a blanket statement. I don't know exactly how to define where the line should be but I have no problem saying that there are definitely people alive who don't deserve to be.

Of course it's financially viable. That's why they're doing it, and they'll keep doing it until we force them to stop. But they know we won't do anything about it besides complain toothlessly on the internet.

Well yeah, that's pretty obviously the point of this post

That's why we need to invest in better facial recognition technology and keep detailed records of the movements of everyone in the world. How else will our autonomous killing machines know who the bad guys are? It's for your own good citizen.

Some of these facilities do generate a significant portion of their own electricity via various means. It's not like that amount of energy is just sitting out there on the grid waiting to be used. Somebody has to generate it and if you're already investing millions in rectifiers, batteries, and other data center power systems, why wouldn't you consider taking it a step further?

Can we add the option to exclude communities and/or posts that are in a different language than our chosen default? I'm guessing filtering communities would be easier than individual posts but I'm not sure how language would be flagged. I understand some people may want to see some of these posts but even multilingual people must be bombarded with posts in languages they don't speak. I'm getting pretty annoyed that half of my feed is stuff I can't read.

I've looked through the settings multiple times but I suppose it's still possible this already exists and I just missed it.
