I don't know if it's actually illegal where I am, but it would definitely result in me getting pulled over for stuff I normally get away with.
In my area? It's hard to say. There's a good amount of cops, so it'd probably be easy to get lost in the sauce for at least a few days, maybe a week. Eventually one of them will notice the "cop" car that isn't a model they've ever had, and has regular plates. They'll get curious and start asking around and when they figure it out they'll all be keeping an eye out for me.
