All they are doing is keeping the story alive. They really think they will come out on top in the end.

How many more ways will he find to tell us the next election will be fixed too?

[–] kingofras@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

That’s a pics or it didn’t happen statement buddy.

Also can you tell us which hole you snuck into so we can patch that up?

[–] kingofras@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

Oh look another yank behaving disorderly. Every time I see this I feel less and less sorry for you lot. Trump’s perfect for you.

You’re saying he cheated at something?

Schumer and AOC will hold him to account.

Moments like these is when I’m proud I’ve never given a cent, not even in Ads to those ratfuckers.

Not to mention never contributed to the wealth of their founder (who allegedly visited islands with minors).

The enshitification of Microsoft and Apple since Trump II is pretty insane to see. Even for american standards.

Thanks for reaching out to the community. Here are mine.

  1. universal tagging (when you friend or follow a user, whatever they tag (comms or users) is shared with you until you unfollow them
  2. community aggregators. For big communities, merge crossposts automatically on bigger communities like !dataisbeautiful@lemmy.ml and !dataisbeautiful@lemmy.world and !dataisbeautiful@mander.xyz and !dataisbeautiful@lemmit.online
  3. better federated moderation. Notifications of mod actions not just on your own instance, but everywhere. When a post is deleted by a mod for a reason, include the OP in the mod message so you can rewrite or remove the offending part of the message and repost the essence. I can imagine lots of scenarios where devs/mods don’t think that’s a good idea, but some of us didn’t read all the rules and didn’t mean any offense.
  4. Deeper publicly available voting analytics (on post level first but also comment level would be good) when you click on […] next to the metadata, get a voting pie chart that shows which instance the upvotes and downvotes came from. Even an barebones analysis tool that checks if a disproportionate % of up or down votes came from an instance that is rather small or only recently federated.
  5. This may be client related, but push notifications on comments, mod actions and DMs would be nice too.

This thing has been viewed a ton more on the high seas due to the fact that nobody wants to support Pee Sky Plus anymore.

My educated guess (not including the free snippets they ran on cable shows and posted their own yt) is that close to 50 mil have seen the entire clip. Probably twice that have seen the crucial snippets of it at least once.

Trey and Matt already got paid anyway.

Solar energy experts in Germany are putting sun-catching cells under the magnifying glass with astounding results, according to multiple reports.

The Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems team is perfecting the use of lenses to concentrate sunlight onto solar panels, reducing size and costs while increasing performance, Interesting Engineering and PV Magazine reported.

The "technology has the potential to contribute to the energy transition, facilitating the shift toward more sustainable and renewable energy sources by combining minimal carbon footprint and energy demand with low levelized cost of electricity," the researchers wrote in a study published by the IEEE Journal of Photovoltaics.

The sun-catcher is called a micro-concentrating photovoltaic, or CPV, cell. The lens makes it different from standard solar panels that convert sunlight to energy with average efficiency rates around 20%, per MarketWatch. Fraunhofer's improved CPV cell has an astounding 36% rate in ideal conditions and is made with lower-cost parts. It cuts semiconductor materials "by a factor of 1,300 and reduces module areas by 30% compared to current state-of-the-art CPV systems," per IE.

Some key insights from the article:

Basically, what they did was to look at how much batteries would be needed in a given area to provide constant power supply at least 97% of the time, and the calculate the costs of that solar+battery setup compared to coal and nuclear.

From the press release. Just doing my part to get Lemmy to help get this some traction.

The ETA has delivered an independent analysis report identifying patterns consistent with vote manipulation

— tampering with cast votes in a manner that adds, removes, or switches votes — in the 2024 Pennsylvania

election results, including:

“Drop-Off Vote” Irregularities: Drop-off votes are the difference between votes for the Presidential race

and the next down-ballot race (for Pennsylvania in 2024, the Senate race). While the drop-off rate for

Mail-In ballots is as expected relative to historic trends (1.48% vs 1.96%), the drop-off rate for

Election Day results is far greater between the Democratic versus Republican candidates (0.87% vs.

4.51%, respectively).

One Candidate Benefiting From Unusually High Turnout: The Republican presidential candidate

received disproportionately more votes in precincts with high turnout, while a similar uptick in Trump

votes is not noted in lower-turnout precincts. As one candidate benefitting from unusually high turnout

has been credibly associated with election fraud in other countries, this may be cause to scrutinize

whether that turnout may have been artificially inflated, such as through ballot-stuffing.

Disproportionate Vote Share Over Sharp Vote Threshold: By measuring the percentage of the vote

received by each Presidential candidate relative to the number of votes cast at a given precinct, the

ETA has identified a sharp increase in Trump’s vote share in precincts where more votes were cast and

counted. This disproportionate increase appears in precincts that exceed a specific threshold of ballots

cast (for example, a little over 200 ballots in Philadelphia County).

There was talk of this Mayday sit in at the DC Mall, but for people outside the states it seems like everyone capitulated. I understand corporate media would not want to report on it, but is there anything happening on the ground where you live?

Now that I’ve written that, he might actually get away with it. It would be a refreshing level of government transparency.

We’ve done it, we got rid of another soulless right wing politician!

Peter Dutton first made his party lose this election and now also lost his own seat much like Pierre Pullover

We’ve still got a government that green-lit new coal power plants in it’s last term, screwed over the Aboriginal community with a poorly run referendum, and still doesn’t give a shit about climate change, but baby steps hey.
